New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks yesterday arrested Nathan B. Lee, 25, of Wappinger, for second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Yesterday at approximately 8:30 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to Degarmo Hills Road in Wappinger for a reported stabbing. Troopers arrived on scene and located both the victim and Lee. Lee was taken into custody without incident. Medical attention was provided to both the victim and Lee.
Lee was taken to Vassar Brothers Hospital in stable condition and the victim was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital also in stable condition. Preliminary investigation found that Lee stabbed his landlord several times with a kitchen knife. Lee resides in the same house as the landlord.
Lee was arraigned before the town of Wappinger Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
