Update: On Sunday, June 25, State Police announced that the fugitives had left the Hudson Valley and were last seen Saturday, June 24 at a Wal-Mart in Matamoras, PA, just over the New York border opposite Port Jervis.Â
New York State Police are currently searching for two fugitives from Tennessee. Jarret Cole Heitmann, 24, 6′ 01″ , 165 pounds brown hair and hazel eyes and Makayla Danielle Stilwell, 22, 5’09” ,145 pounds, brown hair and green eyes. Both are wanted for kidnapping and attempted murder. They were confirmed to be in Pine Bush and may also be in the Bloomingburg area.
State Police are searching the area and ask the public to report any information to the State Police in Middletown at 845-344-5300 or the State Police barracks in Wurtsboro at 845-888-2494.
