Artists are putting the final touches on the horses destined to be a part of “Rockin’ Around Saugerties.” A free preview will be held Sunday, May 21 from 5-7 p.m. at Saugerties Performing Arts Factory (SPAF). All 35 horses will be placed throughout Saugerties the week of May 27 as part of this year’s “Art in the Village” project by the Saugerties Chamber of Commerce. Many of the artists will be at the preview, which will feature complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. The venue gives attendees an opportunity to view the horses, meet the artists and perhaps pick out a favorite horse to buy at the Sept. 16 auction.
