The National Park Service is seeking volunteers to work at the Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site in Hyde Park. Volunteers are needed to present guided tours of President Roosevelt’s birthplace and home, assist with backing up large tour groups and assisting staff at the information desk at the site’s Henry A. Wallace Visitor Center. Training is provided. Volunteers are required to contribute at least four hours per week.
Qualified individuals love history and enjoy public speaking and assisting with the public.
