Winter seems to be making up for lost time here in the Hudson Valley. After the largest storm in two years on Thursday and several more inches last night, another storm is bearing down on the Hudson Valley.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning this morning for Sunday morning through Monday evening Mid-Hudson Valley, calling for great than 7″ total snow accumulation in our area. Heavy, wet snow, along with sleet, will begin falling Sunday morning and taper off late-Sunday into Monday, causing snow-covered roads and poor visibility. Winds will increase becoming strong and gusty late Sunday night through Monday causing blowing and drifting of snow. Hudson Valley Weather says gusts could reach 45 mph
