The Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley Kingston Health Center at 21 Grand St. is offering a free youth leadership training program for teens between 14 and 18 on Thursday, July 28, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Their mission, they state, “is to envision a world without barriers — where freedom and dignity are accepted as fundamental human rights — a world where caring connects us all.”
Event-goers will learn valuable peer education skills, become leaders in STI prevention, pregnancy prevention and healthy relationships, and will be able to demonstrate leadership on college applications and resumes.
