red cross sqCassandra L. Lewis, 28, of Partition St., was arrested and charged with falsely reporting an incident. According to police, Lewis called 911 on Oct. 30 to report a medical emergency. After being transported to the hospital in Kingston, Lewis signed herself out of the hospital shortly after arriving, using the ambulance service, police said, solely as transportation to Kingston so she could see her boyfriend who lived nearby.

Lewis was issued an appearance ticket with a return court date of Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Village of Saugerties Justice Court.
