The Boys & Girls Club will host its annual Steak and Burger Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at Diamond Mills Hotel and Tavern, 25 South Partition St. Participants will be paired with a member of the club and seated with four other sponsors and their member guests. Sponsors will dine on hamburger while kids will be served steak. Cash bar and cocktails at 5 p.m. Club members will arrive at 6 p.m. to join for dinner. Reserve tickets by calling (845) 246-7671 or 845-416-3242. RSVP by Oct. 1.

This year’s speaker will be Maggie Howell, executive director of the New York Wolf Conservatory. She will be accompanied by Atka, their educational Ambassador Wolf.

“I truly believe that this dinner will be our biggest success ever,” said Scott Denny, Executive Board Member & Committee Chair.

Past speakers have included astronomer Bob Berman and director Alex Rappoport, “but having a real live wolf join us, that just takes us to a whole new level,” said Denny, who pointed out  that all speakers volunteer their time.

Denny said the goal is to fill Diamond Mills with 400 people for the event.

Sponsorship: Platinum sponsors: $500. Gold table sponsors, $300. Sponsors, $150. Individual ticket, $60.

Make Checks Payable To: Boys & Girls Clubs Saugerties Unit, PO Box 585, Saugerties, NY 12477.
