Ulster police seek help in finding 14-year-old

UPDATE: On Tuesday morning, the Ulster town police reported that Shadai had been located.

The Ulster Police Department is investigating a missing persons complaint involving Shadai J. Champagne, a 14-year-old African-American female, who left her home on Sunday, Sept. 6 following, police said, a disagreement with her mother.

Shadai, police said, stands five-feet-two and weighs about 125 pounds. She has dark hair with blonde highlights. Anyone with information is asked to call the UPD at (845) 382-1111.
