Jeremy K. Blaber, an ex-city employee, former mayoral henchman, blogger and political operative, has again been arrested, this time on drug charges.

Kingston police said in a release posted Wednesday evening to its Facebook page that Blaber had been arrested by the KPD’s Special Investigations Unit on April 28 after reports of drug-related activity on Greenkill Avenue. Blaber, 27, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and released pending a future court appearance.

In 2013, Blaber was arrested and charged with felony burglary in connection with an alleged theft from an office at 516 Broadway. Also in 2013, Blaber was arrested and charged with felony possession of a forged instrument in connection with an allegedly stolen check. The disposition of those cases, as well as further details about Tuesday’s arrest, was not immediately available.
