This Saturday, March 21, the Ulster Ballet Company puts on its 32nd annual Festival of Dance: a true potpourri of talents and styles, from the balletlike and narrative to more modern movements and even bits of tap and other partner-dancing tropes. Among the faves are Ellen Sinopoli’s troupe, Silver Screen Ballroom (formerly Ballroom Dancing for Tough Guys) and Syncopated City Dancers; new this year will be edgier New York City-based dancers, an all-woman troupe and more ballet than has been previously seen. It all takes place at the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) in Midtown Kingston.
