Holiday tours of Wilderstein
Self-guided tours of the festively decorated mansion at the Wilderstein Historic Site will be offered on Thanksgiving weekend, November 28 to 30, and continue on all Saturdays and Sundays in December from 1 to 4 p.m. through Sunday, December 28. A docent will be stationed in each room for questions. Tours cost $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and students and are free for children under age 12. Sinterklaas festivities begin in Kingston on Saturday, November 29 with a sendoff celebration mirroring the original Dutch legend in which Sinterklaas leaves Spain by boat for Holland. The Hudson Valley recreation provides a day of activities in Kingston, ending with a parade to escort Sinterklaas to his boat for the ride across the Hudson River to Rhinebeck. Babes in Toyland at Woodstock Playhouse
