The Saugerties Police Department reminds residents that a curfew will be in effect tonight, Oct. 31. The curfew affects all persons under the age of 17 and begins at 8 p.m.
In addition, Police Chief Joseph Sinagra has said extra police will be on patrol over the course of the Halloween Weekend as part of a stop DWI program. Funds to pay for police overtimes is coming from a national Stop DWI grant. Sheriff’s deputies will also be out in force.
