For the 12th straight year, the Gardiner 5K Classic run/walk will grace the hamlet, this year, like the previous eight, with proceeds going to the Gardiner Fire Department and the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. The race is Thursday, July 17 at 6:30 p.m. and it will begin and end at Majestic Park. The kid’s fun run will start at 7:30 p.m.

If interested in running the Gardiner 5K Classic, call Donna Lyons at 255-5887 or Barbara Clinton at 255-0662. Registration forms are available at https://www.townofgardiner.org/5K%20Application2014.pdf.
