Key Bank robbery suspect nabbed

bank robber side to sideIt’s taken more than a year, but today members of the Saugerties Police Department, the State Police, Herkimer Police, Hunter Police and New Paltz Police arrested Collin T. Lambert, 48, of Tannersville and charged him with robbing the Key Bank on Main St., Jan. 11, 2013, and the robbery of the First Credit Union on State St. in Herkimer on Dec. 6, 2013.

According to Saugerties Police, the joint investigation included the Herkimer police and the State Police based upon leads developed by the Herkimer police.

Lambert was charged with felony robbery and grand larceny and lodged in the Herkimer County Correctional Facility without bail.
