Roasted turkey, stuffing, broccoli, tossed salad, dinner rolls and holiday pies were on the menu for New Paltz Central School District’s 21st annual Thanksgiving holiday meal, sponsored by the New Paltz United Teachers. The feast was held at Duzine and Lenape elementary schools last Wednesday and all senior citizens of the district were invited to attend.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for seniors to get to know and see the youngsters in our schools, as well as enjoy a delightful meal,” said Michael Robinson, the food service director.

The school’s food service staff prepared the meal and Duzine and Lenape students helped serve. Student artwork was displayed and entertainment was provided.
