The tenth annual Family of New Paltz Turkey Trot will take place on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, 9 a.m., at Water Street Market in New Paltz. The event will feature a 5K race, fun run/walk and a free mashed potato kids’ half-mile fun run for children eight and under. A pre-packet pick-up and registration will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 27 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, located at 30 North Chestnut Street in New Paltz. Prizes will be awarded to the first male and first female to finish.
