Joseph Rodriguez was found guilty of murder in the second degree yesterday for brutal beating death of his 2-year-old niece, Asia Medina Perez.
Ulster County District Attorney Holley Carnright himself served as prosecutor in court. His office released a press release announcing the win.
“This was a story that no one should have to hear, images one should have to see,” Carnright’s press release reads.
Nov. 14’s decision ends a long a painful process for Asia’s parents — Cesar Perez and Katy Medina.
