Families who would like help in providing Christmas gifts for their children can enroll in “Christmas Presence,” the holiday-giving program sponsored by St. Joseph’s Church in New Paltz. Registration will take place at St. Joseph’s Church Hall from 11 a.m. to noon on Oct. 28 through Nov. 8, each weekday except Thursday. Evening registration will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the St. Joseph’s Parish Center and on Thursday, Nov. 7 in the Church Hall. Children ages 18 and under from families who live in New Paltz and surrounding communities are eligible for the program. Legal guardians must present photo ID, proof of children’s ages and proof of address when registering.
