meet the candidates HZTThe Saugerties League of Women Voters is sponsoring candidates’ forums for offices that will be on the November ballot in Saugerties.

Read the candidates guide to see who’s endorsed by which party

Candidates will make brief statements, then answer questions provided by the audience. All are encouraged to attend. The first forum will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Frank D. Greco Senior Center on Market Street in Saugerties. The candidates invited are those seeking the following town offices: supervisor (6:45 p.m. to 7:25 p.m.), town council (7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.), highway superintendent (8:35 p.m. to 9:05 p.m.) and town justice (9:10 p.m. to 9:40 p.m.). The second forum will be held on Monday, Oct. 21, also at the Frank D. Greco Senior Center on Market Street in Saugerties. The candidates invited are those seeking the following offices: county comptroller (7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) and county legislature, districts 1, 2 and 3 (8:05 p.m. to 9:05 p.m.).
