Banjo wizard and newgrass stalwart Tony Trischka returns to Unison Arts on Saturday, September 21, headlining this New Paltz cultural institution’s inaugural Founder’s Day Concert. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with light refreshments and tastings, courtesy of Tuthilltown Spirits and Moxie Cupcake. At 8 p.m., Tony Trischka, whom The New York Times called “the Godfather of what’s sometimes called New Acoustic music,” will take the stage. Fred Mayo will emcee the event.
