Storytime with traditional crafts at Clermont in Germantown
Storytime is a regular part of family life for many of us with kids, but on Sundays at 10 a.m., storytime at Clermont has a twist: Each gathering includes a related craft, such as butter-churning. This weekly storytime is geared for ages 2 to 6 years. I think that it’s wonderful to engage children this way in local historic sites like Clermont.
Programs are free, but there is a $5 parking fee on weekends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Clermont is located at One Clermont Avenue in Germantown. For more information, call (518) 537-4240 or visit www.friendsofclermont.org or https://nysparks.com.
