Saugerties July 4 weekend schedule of events

fireworks VRTThursday, July 4 11 a.m. July 4 Parade in the village. Parade lines up on Washington Ave. and kicks off sharply at 11 a.m. Parade will wind through the village, and finish at Cantine Field. Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Saugerties, the Saugerties Fire Department and Sawyer Motors. Car show founder Bob Siracusano of Sawyer Motors will serve as Grand Marshall

Saturday, July 6 Starting at 1 p.m. Cars and carnival at Cantine Field – Cruise-in with 500 colorful classic cars, carnival, sky divers, hot dog eating contest, hot air balloon rides, Home Run Derby (prizes of up to $500), apple pie contest at 1 p.m. and more. Live entertainment by The Big Smoothies (2 p.m.) and Route 66 (6 p.m.) Fireworks at dusk.

Sunday, July 7. 1–6 p.m. It’s all about the cars. Main, Market and Partition streets will be closed to traffic and the village will be full of 500-plus classic cars, live entertainment by The Big Smoothies, Route 66, Devotions and The Greyhounds.
