The Rats’ Nest Run-In returns to Saugerties this weekend. The event celebrates “Rat Rods” – custom-built hot rods stripped to their gritty essentials – and the clothes, music and culture that surround them. The show is open to pre-’63 hot rods capable of driving through the gate (no trailers). There will be a $500 Grand Prize drawing for all entrants, a Pinup Girl/Bettie contest with cash prizes and live music by American Pinup, Slaughterhouse Chorus, the Denver Boot and Silver Spades.
The Rats’ Nest Run-In starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29 at 1083 King’s Highway in Saugerties. Admission costs $10 per adult; kids under age 12 and active-duty military get in free.
