The seventh annual “Wing Fling” will be held at the Kiwanis Ice Arena at Cantine Field on Sunday, June 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is hosted by the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Prizes for “most popular” and “people’s choice” will be accompanied by cash prizes this year, and celebrity judges will select “best hot,” “best barbecue,” “best mild,” “best garlic” and “best exotic wings.” There will also be a chicken-wing eating contest, live entertainment and children’s activities. Cost is $5 with children ages 8 and under admitted free.
