The Gardiner Library display case is currently featuring a display of over 60 nutcrackers. The nutcrackers are from the collection of Gardiner resident B.J. Wilson. Wilson’s wife Lisa gave him a small nutcracker candle replica years ago and he mentioned he wasn’t that fond of nutcrackers. This inspired family and friends to give him them as gifts. He currently has over 150 nutcrackers in his collection. The display case is in the lobby of the library at 133 Farmer’s Turnpike. The nutcrackers will be on display through the end of the year.
