More than 90 fine and fancy British motorcars from as far away as 215 miles, from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, spread out on the lawn at the Woodstock Playhouse on Sunday, September 23 for the Fourth Annual British Car Show. There were Bentleys, MGs, a Lotus Elan and a Europa, Austin Healeys, Triumphs, organizer Len Sapiro’s 1973 Jensen Interceptor (hand built and powered by a Chrysler 440).
Best in Show was awarded to a Morris Minor estate wagon custom with a V-8 engine, shortened bronco frame, 1937-39 tear-drop headlights, with an incredible Hawaiian motif leather interior. “It was simply beautiful,” said Sapiro.
All proceeds went to support the Woodstock Playhouse and for the NYCA Troupe (a group of teenage performers) who performed a 50’s song and dance routine.
Sapiro sends out his thanks to the NYCA troupe and their parents for all the volunteer help.
