The New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced that Nancy Raftery-Dodge has joined its staff as director of membership. In this new position, her responsibilities will include nurturing relationships between the chamber and its members, and growing the chamber’s membership base.
The chamber’s interim member relations associate, Susan Colchamiro, will return to her retirement at the end of June.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to add Nancy to our team,” said Michael Smith, president of the 600-member organization. “She brings a vast energy, dedication and freshness of spirit to the position which we know will resonate with our membership, and with the potential member businesses throughout the valley who will respond best to our chamber’s hyper-local boutique approach to service.”
Dodge has owned the promotional product business Arrow Promotions for 15 years, is the founder of Krystal’s Wish Foundation for SIDS, a local non-profit which gives funds to local hospitals to help families who have lost children, and is past president of the Kingston Lions Club. She can be reached by calling the chamber at 255-0243 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by email at nancy@newpaltzchamber.org. Members and visitors are welcome at the chamber’s visitors’ center at 257 Main Street in New Paltz.
