Gallo to be sworn in Sunday

Mayor Shayne Gallo will be sworn in and deliver his first Mayor’s Message on Sunday, Jan. 1 at noon at City Hall on Broadway. Gallo, a Democrat, was elected to a four-year term in November. The city’s nine aldermen and Alderman-at-Large Jim Noble will also take their oaths of office. Refreshments will be served at Frank Guido’s Little Italy Restaurant on Thomas Street following inauguration ceremonies. The public is invited.
