Well, I certainly saw a lot of happy and familiar faces up on the mountain during Mohonk Mountain House’s much-appreciated and well-attended community week. Our granddaughters had a ball trying out all of their intricate moves up on the ice in the skating pavilion. Our family lunch was bountiful and delicious, and each of the wait-staff very attentive in making sure our meal was enjoyed. All in all, community week at Mohonk Mountain House is such a gift to New Paltz and our neighboring towns. I just wish that they had a community week each month. Now let the snow come and the cross-country skiing begin.
