On Sunday, July 10 from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. the Village of Saugerties will host the eighth annual Sawyer motor car show featuring over 400 hot rods, classics, and antique cars.
Known as The Best Little Car Show in the Northeast, the show attracts many one-of-a-kind automobiles and thousands of spectators. Market, Main, and Partition Streets will be closed to traffic, but businesses on these streets will remain open.
This event is free of charge to the public. Enjoy live music on three stages: The Devotions, The Big Smoothies, and Souled Out will perform, and there will be a live radio feed from WBPM with prizes and dozens of raffle items.
The registration fees and proceeds will benefit “SOS.” Support Our Service People provides care packages to servicemen and women deployed in combat. Over 50 trophies will be awarded. Pre-registration is encouraged. For more information, contact Sawyer Motors at 246-3412. l
