This year’s village election will see Mayor Bill Murphy running unopposed and four candidates vying for three trustee seats.

Most candidates will run on the New Vision Party line, while incumbent Suzanne LeBlanc will run for her third term as the sole member of the Home Party. New Vision candidates include Murphy, incumbents Jeannine Dirie and Patrick Landewe, and newcomer Brian Martin, the former village fire chief.
Polls will be open on March 15, from noon to 9 p.m.

The election is open to all registered voters residing in the village of Saugerties.

The last day to register with the Ulster County Board of Elections is March 4.
