Tobey Titus, 85, of Bearsville, NY died Friday, January 28th, 2022, at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
Born in New York City, she attended Bard College. After working as an assistant to Richard Avedon, she pursued photography and painting. She traveled extensively, especially enjoyed Paris, and had a lifelong love of the Spanish language. She was cultured, an interesting conversationalist, and possessed a vibrant humor. She spent many summers in Woodstock and moved to Bearsville in 1975 where she enjoyed the beauty of fields and forests.
The daughter of Horace Titus and Evelyn Crawford Gluckman, she is survived by her brother, Tad Crawford, of Putnam Valley, NY.
