It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Thelma Artson LoRe on Saturday, September 11, 2021. She was the wife of Anthony LoRe, who predeceased her in 1978.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Ron Hicinbothem of Shokan, her son Richard of Woodstock, grandchildren Laurie Hicinbothem of Saugerties, Tara Hicinbothem of Boiceville, Michael and Victoria LoRe of Woodstock, great grandchildren Arianna White, Andrew Hicinbothem and Taylor Olsen. She was predeceased by her brother Herbert Artson, sister Joy and brother-in-law Dr. Nathaniel Messinger, daughter-in-law Lisa Crenshaw-LoRe and granddaughter Melissa LoRe.
She was born in Brooklyn to Mildred Black and Thomas Artson on January 7th, 1922. She attended James Madison High School. According to her wishes there will be no services. Cremation by Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Kingston, NY.
