Miles L. “Myles” Putman

SAUGERTIES… Miles L. “Myles” Putman, 60, of Mt. Airy Road died suddenly Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY.   Born January 7, 1958 in Orange, New Jersey he was the son of the late Laurel and Ruth Putman.   A Graduate of Lafayette University in Easton, PA. he went on to earn 2 Master Degrees from the University of New Mexico and SUNY Albany.   He was self employed as a Community Planner working for the Town of Esopus and the Saugerties Historical Preservation Commission.

He was a member of Christ’s Lutheran Church in Woodstock and its choir, the ARS Choralis in Woodstock and the Saugerties Historical Society.  He and his wife, Judy, were involved with animal welfare.

Survivors include his wife, Judy, 3 Brothers: Peter (Jackie) Putman of PA., Peter (Marie) Peff of VT. And Tom (Ann) Peff of PA.  1 Sister: Mary (Tom) Eckstein of ME. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.  He was predeceased by his Step Mother, Frances Peff.

His Funeral Procession will form 10:15 AM Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. Of John & Lafayette Sts. Thence to Christ’s Lutheran Church, Mill Hill Rd. where at 11:00 AM his Funeral Service will be conducted.  Friends will be received Monday 2-4 And 7-9 PM.  Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the Ulster County SPCA or Christ’s Lutheran Church.  Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family @SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.
