SAUGERTIES…Ira Ringel, 59, of Finger Rd. died Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the Kingston Hospital. Born June 21, 1961 in North Bergen, NJ he was the son of the late Samuel and Rosalind Ringel. Ira was a graduate of Rutgers University and went on to a career with IBM in the Hudson Valley. He loved hiking in the mountains and animals.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; brother Emanuel and sister-in-law Gloria of Pennsylvania. Several beloved nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his foster daughter, Samantha Kiernan.
His funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Burial will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery.
