SAUGERTIES… Elizabeth “Betty” Zerbo, 79, of George Sickle Rd., passed away Monday, July 12, 2021.
Born May 4, 1942 in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late George and Hedwig McCarey. A graduate of Hofstra University, Betty was a Saugerties area resident since 1993. She was employed at Independence Savings Bank in Bayside, Queens as a Vice President for over 20 years. A member and past Exalted Ruler of the Saugerties Elks Lodge #2574, she was active on numerous committees.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles; a daughter, Janine and her husband, Lawrence Taylor; and son Charles and his wife Lisa Zerbo; five grandchildren, Amanda and Lawrence Taylor, Jr. and Alexander, Joseph, and Ben Zerbo.
Her Service of Remembrance will be held 8:15 PM July 26, 2021 at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Friends will be received from 7-8:15 PM. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
