David Wagner

David Wagner, 63, of New Paltz, New York passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 5, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loved pets.

Born on June 22, 1958, in Bradford, Pennsylvania he was the son of Marylin (Harris) Wagner and the late John Wagner.

He married Julie Ann Bogdahn on December 30, 1978, in West Buxton, Maine. They had over forty years together before her death in April of 2019.

David was owner/operator of a business he started, Life Care Design, Inc., out of New Paltz, New York. His work would focus on making homes and commercial businesses handicap accessible and up to code for the Americans with Disabilities Act. His efforts bettered the lives of so many people.

David Wagner was a generous man. All those in his presence were never judged and always welcomed. You would never leave his home in need. Everyone became his family and so many will remember him as a parent or friend. David was resourceful, a solutionist, innovative, eager to teach others and passionate about his work. David encouraged everyone to always ask because the worst anyone could ever say was “no.” David is remembered by his grandchildren as being fun and kind. David enjoyed music and often associated all life events with a variety of classic rock.
