SAUGERTIES – Carol C. Giannelli, 81, of VanBuskirk Rd. died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at the Kingston City Hospital. Born Feb. 18, 1937 in Bronx, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Raymond Fonzo and Mildred Lederer. An area resident since 2003 she previously resided in Suffern, N.Y. She was an active parishioner of St. John the Evangelist RC Church serving as a Eucharist Minister and Lector. Predeceased by her husband John, sister Clorinda, grandson Paul Jr., and great-grandson Connor. Survivors include two daughters: Christine (Paul) Steinebach of Saugerties and Susan (Steven) Krog of Pleasantville; three sons: John of Endicott, Stephen (Julia) of St. Augustine, Fla. And Joseph (Tina) Giannelli of Saugerties. A brother: Joseph (Anne) Lederer of E. Meadow, 17 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Her Funeral Procession will form Thursday at 10:15 a.m. the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties, thence to St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church where at 11 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.
