Catch jazz standards and originals with Laura Evans and friends in Stone Ridge

Laura Evans brings a quartet to Lydia’s Cafe for a set built on jazz standards, familiar songs turned at a fresh angle, and original material of her own. Evans, a Hudson Valley pianist, vocalist, arranger, and composer, has been working steadily around the region, and this show leans into the mix that defines her work: warm vocals, expressive piano, and flexible small-group interplay. She is joined here by Vincent Leggiere on bass, Paul Rossman on drums, and Steve Horowitz on trumpet.
