Two Kingston residents were arrested after police discovered them inside a home they had allegedly entered without permission, following reports of back-to-back break-ins on Potic Mountain Road in the Town of Catskill.
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Catskill responded to the incident on November 19, after receiving a report of unauthorized individuals at two separate residences. The investigation revealed that 52-year-old Clinton Coddington had unlawfully entered both homes, while 51-year-old Nicole Langon was involved in just one of the break-ins. Troopers located both individuals inside one of the properties and escorted them out.
Coddington was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, a Class C felony. Langon was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, a Class A misdemeanor.
Langon was released on her own recognizance after arraignment in Athens Town Court. Coddington was remanded to Greene County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash, a $10,000 secured bond, or $15,000 partially secured bond.
