The Arts Society of Kingston (ASK) kicks off Pride Month with a free, three-part celebration on Thursday, June 5. The evening begins with the opening of Big Bold Pride, a juried group exhibition of LGBTQIA+ artists and allies, curated by Lindsey Wolkowicz, Jacinta Bunnell, and Micah Fornari. Also debuting is Living Queer, a solo show by Faith Bugman exploring queer identity through mixed media. At 7:30pm, ASK leads a community Rondout Pride Stroll down Broadway and across the Wurts Street Bridge, with local businesses offering Pride-themed specials. All events are free.
