A school bus from the Highland Central School District was involved in a collision with a vehicle this afternoon, May 8, as both were departing the Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center on U.S. Route 9W. No injuries were reported in the incident. The crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. and involved a vehicle driven by a student.
Personnel from the Highland and Ulster BOCES transportation departments, along with a school resource officer, responded to the scene. A second bus was dispatched by Highland to transport students safely and without delay. The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
