Guitar legend Gary Lucas is reuniting his band Gods and Monsters for an electrifying debut as a psychedelic power trio at Colony Woodstock. Known for his iconic work with Jeff Buckley and Captain Beefheart, Lucas leads this reimagined lineup alongside bassist Ernie Brooks (Modern Lovers, Arthur Russell) and drummer Calvin Weston (James “Blood” Ulmer, Lounge Lizards), promising a dynamic mix of cosmic soundscapes and rock energy. Opening the night is Woodstock’s own Spaghetti Eastern Music, the genre-bending solo project of Sal Cataldi, blending acid jazz grooves with introspective acoustic ballads. We wouldn’t be surprised to see fretboards catch fire and melt.
