UPDATE: On Tuesday, Dec. 10, Kaprelian was sadly reported to be found deceased in the New Paltz woods.
The City of Kingston Police Department is currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 58-year-old Peter H. Kaprelian, who was last seen on December 4, 2024. Kaprelian, who stands about 6’2” and weighs around 190 pounds, was reportedly observed that afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m. in front of the Tops Friendly Markets at New Paltz Plaza, where he collects donations for the Salvation Army. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Kaprelian or who has information about his whereabouts to contact the City of Kingston Police Department at (845) 331-1671.
