This Thanksgiving morning tradition invites over 1,000 participants to trot, run, or walk their way through a festive 5K on a USATF-certified course or join the littlest trotters in the 0.5-mile “Mashed Potato Kids Fun Run.” Both races kick off at Water Street Market in New Paltz, blending community spirit with scenic views. Proceeds support Family of New Paltz’s vital programs, including a food pantry, health services, and domestic violence support.
