Few bands make it past a few years or a couple albums, but Pitchfork Militia is currently celebrating its 29th year as one of Hudson Valley’s must-see bands. Accessible to a diverse range of music fans, the trio bounces from punk to country to folk to rockabilly while careening from serious to silly. One minute they’re singing about a farmer losing his hand in a combine harvester, the next minute frontman Peter Head leads the audience in a chorus of farm animal sounds.
