Get ready to roll as the Kingston Artists Soapbox Derby returns for its 29th year. This one-of-a-kind event full of one-of-a-kind vehicles brings together artists, families, and community groups for an inventive display of rolling soapbox derby cars. Spectators will gather to cheer on the creatively designed, non-motorized kinetic sculptures as they race down the hill. With over $2500 in cash prizes up for grabs in Individual, Family, and Community categories, entries are judged on creativity, originality, and engineering. The fun kicks off with the percussion parade, followed by the main event and concluding with an entertaining award ceremony featuring DJ Harlan.
