Due to the threat of rain on Saturday, the 35th annual Easter egg hunt in New Paltz has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 24 from noon to 3 p.m. at Historic Huguenot Street. The egg hunt begins at 1 p.m. Enjoy music by DJ Jay Smooth, two bouncy houses, balloons and face painting, concessions, firetrucks and rescue vehicles, an Easter stone scavenger hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, and an egg hunt with 5,000 eggs and tons of prizes.

The event, for children up to age 12, is hosted by the New Paltz Youth Program and the New Paltz Police Department. For additional information, call 845-255-2593.
