Saugerties volunteers aid Riverkeeper Sweep

During the 11^th annual Riverkeeper Sweep on May 6, volunteers from Saugerties removed 800 pounds of debris from the Saugerties shoreline, including over 30 bags of garbage, an old kayak, several plastic barrels, an old chair, tons of Styrofoam, some heavy decking and poles and a message in a bottle. The Village of Saugerties supplied the dumpster.
